Celtic cruised into the Scottish Cup Final after a convincing 4-0 victory over bitter rivals Rangers in the semi-final at Hampden Park.

The Hoops dominated the game and were close to taking the lead in the opening 10 minutes of the match, when a Moussa Dembele shot crashed against the post.

The Bhoys did eventually take the lead on the midway part of the first-half, when Old Firm specialist Tom Rogic scored his third goal of the season against the Ibrox club with a cool finish.

The Hoops doubled their lead just before half-time, when Callum McGregor took advantage of some poor defending by Russell Martin to finish in style.

The game was ended as a contest in the 51st minute, when Ross McCrorie fouled Dembele in the penalty box, an after the Gers man was sent-off Dembele chipped the ball home to seal the win for the Bhoys.

Craig Gordon was then forced into action for the first-time, and made two good stops from Alfredo Morelos.

The Hoops then went 4-0 ahead when Patrick Roberts was brought down in the box by Jason Holt, and this time Olivier Ntcham finished from the penalty spot.

There is no stopping the Hoops and they face Motherwell in next month’s Scottish Cup Final aiming to clinch a second successive domestic treble.
