West Ham backed to agree cut-price Jorgen Strand Larsen deal
West Ham are turning their attentions to Wolves star Jorgen Strand Larsen in their battle against relegation.
Following their disappointing first half of the season, West Ham are planning to sign a new striker in January.
It is understood West Ham are ready to make a move to sign Strand Larsen despite his struggles for Wolves over the past few months.
The Norway international has registered just three goals in 18 appearances this season, with Rob Edwards’s side rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table on three points.
Wolves turned down a £55million bid for Strand Larsen from Newcastle United over the summer.

Why Wolves should sell Jorgen Strand Larsen to West Ham
Former Man City financial adviser Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider Strand Larsen’s value must have decreased following his poor form this season.
West Ham are in desperate need of attacking options, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side sitting third bottom and four points from safety.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider about West Ham’s interest in Strand Larsen, Borson said: “I think his price must have gone down. Aside from the fact that the price is set by supply and demand, given the options that West Ham are going to have finding players, that’s going to offset it.
“I think if you look at Wolves, they now should just simply prepare for the Championship. There’s no way that they can survive. There’s almost no way they can even get any additional revenue between now and the end of the season beyond what they would expect from finishing bottom.
“They just have to accept that it’s done, plan accordingly and reduce as much cost as possible now. That should include the selling of players like Strand Larsen now.”

West Ham have been told to “gamble” in the January transfer window if they want to avoid relegation this season.
How West Ham could structure Strand Larsen deal
Borson insisted Strand Larsen is a signing he could see West Ham making despite Wolves’ previous high asking price.
“Well, I think West Ham could probably structure a deal at a lower level than £55m and maybe with some bonus if they survive on the back of his goals,” said Borson.
“But it’s a deal you could see happening. The question is, he just does not feel like a £55m player on current form.”
Strand Larsen registered 14 goals and five assists in 38 appearances last season, but his form has completely dropped off in the opening months of this campaign.
