Aaron Ramsey: Campbell issues ‘big’ Rangers claim after dressing room reveal
Kevin Campbell is unsurprised to hear Aaron Ramsey is making a “big impact” behind the scenes at Rangers.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker tipped the 31-year-old to make a real difference at Ibrox both on and off the field.
Ramsey made his debut for the Light Blues on Sunday in a 5-0 thumping of Hearts in the Scottish Premiership.
According to the Daily Mail‘s Dominic King (7 February), the Wales international has “fitted into the dressing room as if he’s been there a year.”
The centre-midfielder could make his full debut tonight when Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side take on Hibernian.
When asked for his assessment of Ramsey’s start to life at Ibrox, Campbell told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs: “Ramsey just wants to play football.
“A lot of people are saying he should have come to the Premier League but if he might not have started if he did. At Rangers, he will get regular game time. It’s been a while since he has played consistently.

“Ramsey in that Rangers side will be fantastic. He’ll make a big difference to their team, I’m sure of it. He might take a week or two to get that sharpness back but he’ll prove his worth this season.
“I’m not surprised to hear he’s making a big impact in the dressing room. He’s a likeable lad and an experienced player. Fair play to him.”
