Aston Villa midfielder Josh Onomah sent the club’s fans supporters into a complete frenzy on social media after producing a sensational strike for the England Under-21 team on Friday evening.

The 20-year-old scored one of the goals of his career as England secured a comfortable 3-1 victory over bitter rivals Scotland at the Riverside Stadium in a European Championship qualifier.

Forwards Tammy Abraham and Dominic Solanke also found themselves on the scoresheet but it was Onomah’s goal which made the headlines.

The Villa loanee broke the deadlock just after 12 minutes when he received the ball on the edge of the area and unleashed an incredible shot which flew into the top corner.

The midfielder’s goal caught the attention of the majority of Villa fans who took to social media to express their delight at the youngster’s effort.
