Newcastle United fans are furious with goalkeeper Karl Darlow for his performance in the Premier League game with Leicester at St James’ Park on Saturday evening.
The 27-year-old was picked to start ahead of Rob Elliot for the third Premier League game in a row, but endured a difficult first half.
The home side took an early lead but Leicester equalised with a brilliant 25-yard strike from Riyad Mahrez, which Darlow will be disappointed he did not save.
Demarai Gray gave Leicester the lead again, only for Dwight Gayle to equalise and almost secure a point for Newcastle.
Unfortunately, Ayoze Perez poked the ball into his own net late on to give the points to Leicester.
Magpies fans took to social media to express their frustration with the goalkeeper, who had a poor display overall, and blame him for the loss that really hurts Newcastle.

Darlow was Newcastle’s first-choice goalkeeper last season and played a key role in the side who won promotion to the Premier League and clinched the Championship title.
He had only made one start this season, in the 3-2 EFL Cup defeat against his former club Nottingham Forest, but was called into the starting line-up for the 2-2 draw at West Brom last month.
Darlow has now conceded nine goals in four appearances so far this season, including the game this evening.
Newcastle took the lead after four minutes on Saturday evening through the much-criticised striker Joselu, after brilliant work from striker Dwight Gayle.
Mahrez equalised for the visitors on 20 minutes with a brilliant long-range effort, even though Darlow will feel he should have saved it, in what was a thoroughly entertaining first half.
Demarai Gray but Leicester ahead in the second half with a deflected effort before Gayle equalised from the edge of the area.
The away side snatched all three points late on with an own goal unlucky own goal by Ayoze Perez.
In other Newcastle United news, Magpies fans are furious with manager Rafa Benitez for this decision against Leicester.
