Adam Idah ‘very keen’ to complete Celtic move
Celtic have received “positive signs” in their pursuit of striker Adam Idah this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
Football Insider revealed on Monday (10 June) that the Hoops’ move for the 23-year-old could be delayed with new Norwich boss Johannes Hoff Thorup keen to evaluate him in pre-season.
Idah has been made a top target after his successful loan spell with Celtic in the second half of the 2023-24 campaign.
Brendan Rodgers is keen to get deals over the line early in the summer transfer window and sources say they won’t “wait forever” for a final decision on the Republic of Ireland international’s future.
However, a well-placed source has now told Football Insider that Idah is “very keen” to make a permanent move to Scotland in a key boost for Celtic.
Celtic receive ‘positive signs’ from Idah – he wants to join permanently
Idah became a key part of Rodgers’ side in their successful pursuit of a league and cup double and is keen to continue his journey with the Hoops.
He made 19 Celtic appearances during his time at Parkhead, starting in seven of those outings.
The forward notched nine goals and two assists in that time – including the winning goal late on against Rangers in the Scottish Cup final.

Idah, who has recently claimed he doesn’t know where his future lies, is under contract with Norwich until June 2028.
Speaking about his Celtic spell, the 25-cap Ireland star said his time at Parkhead “changed a lot of things and I am just hungry for more now”.
