Agbonlahor ‘100%’ sure about £40m Pedro Porro deal as Tottenham transfer mission reported
Gabby Agbonlahor has claimed right wing-back is “100% the weak link” at Tottenham as they continue negotiations with Sporting CP for Pedro Porro.
The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, urged Spurs to “go out and buy the player Antonio Conte wants” in order to fix their problems.
According to the Daily Mirror (14 January), Tottenham are set to meet with Sporting this week to see if a deal can be thrashed out for Porro.

The report claims the Lilywhites are reluctant to pay the asking price of £40million plus add-ons, and could send a player on loan to the Portuguese giants in order to sweeten the deal.
Porro, who has been capped once by Spain, has registered two goals and 10 assists in 23 appearances this season.
Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty have been rotated by Conte this season – while Djed Spence has been starved of first-team action since joining the club last summer.
Tottenham sit fifth in the Premier League – five points adrift of fourth-place Man United.
Agbonlahor told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “Right wing-back is 100% the weak link for Spurs.
“Doherty and Royal are not good enough. Spence wasn’t the manager’s signing, so he’s not going to play.
“I think it’s a case of going out and buying the player Conte wants.
“We’ve seen in football, and the Premier League especially, that your full-backs have to be on point.

“They have to be some of the best players in the team.
“The days of not being bothered about full-backs are over, and Spurs need to fix that.”
