Agbonlahor cites Antony as winger lambasted as 'not good enough for Man United'
Anthony Elanga is not good enough for Man United, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed the REds really suffer when Antony is out and Elanga has to deputies.
The 20-year-old made his ninth Premier League appearance of the season from the bench during Man United’s 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday (6 November).
The Sweden international is yet to find the net this season and only has one assist to his name.
Antony has three goals in six Premier League appearances but has missed the last two games with a leg injury.
“I thought Elanga was very poor against West Ham,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.

“I’m not having him, I don’t think Elanga is Man United quality. I love young players getting the chance but sometimes you are not good enough. I look at Elanga and I don’t think he’s good enough.
“They miss Antony. I feel like he’s a threat and would have done well against Aaron Cresswell.
“Man United are not at full strength. With [Marcus] Rashford, [Anthony] Martial and Antony, that’s their best front three for me. When they are not all available, they get found out.
“Against West Ham, they were lucky De Gea was in top form to get them the points.”
Elanga has four goals and three assists in 39 games across all competitions for Man United.
He is under contract at Old Trafford until the summer of 2026.
