Agbonlahor cites Grealish amid 'big' Tottenham claim
Gabby Agbonlahor has insisted Richarlison’s form for Tottenham is not a “problem”.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker insisted it is a positive that Antonio Conte now has four top-class forwards competing for three spots.
Richarlison has started Spurs’ last three games alongside Heung-min Son and Harry Kane forcing Dejan Kulusevski to the bench.
As quoted by football.london on Tuesday (13 September), Antonio Conte insisted he is not afraid to rotate any of his squad with Son yet to score all season.
“I don’t think it’s a problem at all,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider‘s Connor Whitley.
“We’re looking at it now and after the international break, there’s probably going to be two games a week for the rest of the season with so many games to play.

“You need to rotate but you need quality to rotate. You don’t need to be rotating players with players who aren’t good enough. Spurs have players that are good enough for rotation.
“One week Kulusevski, Kane and Son might start and in the Champions League, it might be Kane, Son and Richarlison. In the next game it might be Richarlison, Kane and Kulusevski.
“They can all rotate and it means someone is getting a game off and a rest. I don’t think it’s a problem at all, it’s normal.
“Look at Man City. It’s [Erling] Haaland, [Jack] Grealish and [Riyad] Mahrez then it might be Haaland, Grealish and [Phil] Foden or Haaland, Foden and [Julian] Alvarez.
“Other teams rotate but because we’re not used to it at Spurs everybody’s talking about it, but it’s not a big problem.
“Son’s goals will come. Attackers go through these spells but it will come, no problem.
“It happens in football. You can go through stages of losing a bit of form but it comes back. Once he scores that first goal you’ll see Son scoring braces here and there, hat-tricks.
“He’s that good of a player.”
