Stuart Dallas could walk into any team in the Premier League and Leeds United will definitely tie him down to a new contract, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former England and Aston Villa striker praised the Northern Ireland international after his match-winning display against Manchester City.
Dallas scored both goals in Leeds’ stunning 2-1 victory over the Premier League leaders including a stoppage-time winner.
The 29-year-old has started all 31 of the Whites’ Premier League games this season and has found the net on seven occasions and provided two assists.
The Athletic‘s Phil Hay revealed in the wake of Saturday’s victory that he thought it would not be long before he put pen-to-paper on a new contract.
And Agbonlahor has insisted he is fully deserving of a new deal after his heroics at the Etihad Stadium.
He told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “I thought he was very good [against Manchester City].
“He’s Mr Reliable.
“He’s a player that every team in the league would love to have in their team and in their squad. He can play different positions, he’ll play anywhere he’s told to play and puts in a great performance wherever he plays.
“He looks like a nice person too so I’m very happy for him.
“I’m sure Leeds will be tying him down.”
Micah Richards said on the BBC’s Monday Night Club that Dallas’ versatility reminded him of three-time Premier League winner James Milner.
Dallas joined Leeds as a winger but has operated in central-midfield and at left-back this season.
