Agbonlahor issues ‘1000%’ Erling Haaland claim after ‘incredible’ Man City reveal – ‘they don’t get football’
Erling Haaland will score at least 20 Premier League goals for Man City this season, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed critics writing off Haaland after the Community Shield “don’t get football”.
The 22-year-old missed a number of chances as Man City lost 3-1 to Liverpool in the season’s curtain-raising game last weekend (30 July).

As quoted by the Times after the game, Pep Guardiola insisted the striker was “incredible” and just needed time to adapt to England.
Asked whether City should have any worries about Haaland, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Not at all.
“Haaland will get 20-plus Premier League goals, 1000 per cent. He’s too good of a player.
“He’s a human being, it was pre-season and he’s probably not even had three weeks of training because a lot of the Man City players come back later than other clubs.
“He did look a bit rusty but that’s going to happen. He’s going to get used to the pace of the Premier League, every game is a quicker pace than the Bundesliga so he’s got to get used to that.
“You saw, he could have scored a hat-trick. In any other game, he gets a hat-trick and that’s against the best defence in the league.

“When he’s playing against defences that aren’t as good, he’s going to score even more.
“He’s going to be dangerous. Anybody with any worries about Haaland doesn’t get football, he’s going to get 20-plus goals.”
