Agbonlahor issues three-word verdict on Newcastle United signing Christian Pulisic after major reveal
Gabby Agbonlahor has insisted Newcastle United should not look to sign Christian Pulisic.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed Newcastle should not be looking at players who are failing at other Premier League clubs.
The 24-year-old is set to enter the final 18 months of his Chelsea contract and his long-term future is up in the air.

The Daily Mail reported last week (27 November) that Newcastle, Man United and Arsenal are now monitoring the USA international’s situation after his performances at the World Cup.
He started all four of the USA’s games before they crashed out at the round of 16 stage with a 3-1 defeat to the Netherlands on Saturday (3 December) and was the man of the match in their 0-0 draw with England last week (25 November).
It is claimed that Newcastle made enquiries about Pulisic in the January transfer window when Chelsea valued him at around £35million.
The Blues could now look to cash in rather than allow his value to decline as he comes closer to the end of his contract.
Asked for his verdict on a move to Newcastle, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Christian Pulisic? Not for me.
“I feel that Newcastle do not need to be signing players who are not performing at other clubs in the Premier League.
“I don’t see them signing Pulisic.”

Pulisic has played 18 times across all competitions for Chelsea this season but has only started three Premier League games.
He now has 26 goals and 21 assists in 133 appearances across all competitions for the Blues since his £58million move in the summer of 2019.
In other news, Leeds United are plotting a move to re-sign a £100,000-a-week star from Newcastle United in the January transfer window.
