Agbonlahor issues warning to Newcastle United after source’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin reveal
Gabriel Agbonlahor has issued a warning to Newcastle over the signing of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa player claimed that the Everton striker’s injury woes could put the Magpies off.
Football Insider revealed (18 May) that Newcastle held primary talks with Everton about signing the England international but his preference was for a move to Arsenal.

Newcastle have already signed goalkeeper Nick Pope, 30, on a four-year deal.
The club are also set to secure the signature of Sven Bottman from Lille.
According to Sky Sports (24 June) the Magpies have had a bid of £35million accepted for the Dutchman.
Calvert-Lewin signed for Everton in 2016 from Sheffield United and his contract is set to expire in 2025.
Despite some strong performances in 20/21, the striker struggled with injury problems last season.
When asked if he thought Newcastle could get away with not paying over the odds for the forward, Agbonlahor said: “They could do.
“I think what they’re [Everton} asking would probably be too much for Calvert-Lewin.
“He was poor last season, injured a lot. I think with Callum Wilson’s injury problems, Newcastle won’t want to bring in Calvert-Lewin has injury problems as well.
“So I don’t see that happening.”

The forward played just 17 league games for Everton last season, as the Toffees struggled for survival.
Calvert-Lewin scored five goals and provided two assists for Everton in the 21/22 season.
