Agbonlahor: Jimenez and Wolves teammate set to explode after alarming reveal
Raul Jimenez and Francisco Trincao are set to explode for Wolves, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed Jimenez just needs one goal to refind his best form.
Wolves finally scored their first goals of the season in a 2-0 win away at Watford this weekend.
They opened the scoring through a terrible own goal from Watford’s Francisco Sierralata and summer signing Hee-Chan Hwang doubled their advantage from close range late on.
Jimenez had one shot in the game taking his season tally to 13 in the Premier League – the most of any player yet to find the net, according to FB Ref.
“I still don’t understand why Jimenez hasn’t started scoring yet, it’s strange considering how good he was before,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.

“I know he’s come from a bad injury but you would have expected him to score so far this season.
“But it’s still early in the season, I think Jimenez will come good. I think Trincao will come good. Wolves will be fine.
“He just needs that goal, that chance to come go in as a striker. Then he’ll be fine and back to his best form.”
Jimenez scored 34 goals in 86 Premier League games for Wolves before fracturing his skull against Arsenal at the end of November 2020.
Trincao moved to Molineux on loan from Barcelona over the summer with an option to buy.
