Agbonlahor: Leeds favourites to be relegated after Bielsa's transfer update
Leeds United will be “one of the favourites to get relegated” if they do not act in the January transfer window, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker insisted they “cannot afford to do nothing in January” after their poor start to the season.
Leeds are now just two points above the drop zone after their 2-1 defeat to Tottenham at the weekend.
As quoted by Phil Hay after the game on Sunday, Marcelo Bielsa seemed to suggest investing in the squad was not a necessity in January.

He told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Leeds will be in a relegation battle.

“They over-rely on Raphinha, he’s going to have his injuries and will miss games. He missed the game at the weekend.
“They need other players to step up. Jack Harrison put a great ball in for Daniel James’ goal and he did better in the game.
“They need more goals from midfielders, can [Mateusz] Klich score a goal? Can a defender get a goal?
“Yes they’ve got injuries but they need to invest in January. Otherwise, they will be one of the favourites to get relegated.
“They cannot afford to do nothing in January. They need to act.”
Leeds brought in James and Junior Firpo for almost £50million in the summer transfer window.
In the summer of 2020, they spent almost £100million on Diego Llorente, Robin Koch, Rodrigo and Raphinha.
