Leeds tipped to sign playmaker and secure top-six finish after Radrizzani reveal - pundit
Leeds United can break into the Premier League’s top six if they sign a proven goalscorer and a number 10.
That is the view of ex-Aston Villa and England attacker Gabby Agbonlahor, speaking exclusively to Football Insider as Andrea Radrizzani laid out his ambitions for Leeds.
As quoted by the Daily Mail (November 2), Radrizzani insisted the Whites can challenge for a top six place next term, if they stay up this season.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side currently sit just above the relegation zone in 15th, three points above the bottom three.
Both of Leeds’ Premier League wins this season have come against fellow strugglers Norwich City and Watford.
Last season, the Yorkshire giants finished in ninth, just six points behind West Ham who finished in sixth.

Asked whether they could make a breakthrough next term after what he’s heard from Radrizzani, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “There’s no reason why not. Yes, I can see them getting in the top six.
“But they need to invest, they need to invest in players who can score goals so it’s not just Raphinha.
“It all depends on investment in better attacking players.
“Also, maybe some more midfielders, especially a number 10. They really need a number 10, Leeds do.
“They’ve also got to keep hold of Raphinha.”
Raphinha has scored five of Leeds’ 11 Premier League goals this term.
Only Norwich, where Teemu Pukki has scored three of their five top-flight goals, have been more reliant on one player this season.
