Agbonlahor lambasts two West Ham big names - 'they've not turned up'
Lucas Paqueta and Gianluca Scamacca have not “turned up” for West Ham yet so David Moyes cannot be blamed for their recent run of poor form.
That is the view of ex-Aston Villa and England attacker Gabby Agbonlahor, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the pressure on Moyes at the London Stadium.
West Ham finished the first part of the season with just one win in their last six Premier League games and they are down in 16th in the table, just a point above the relegation zone.
BBC Sport reported last week (13 November) that club chiefs are still backing Moyes to turn it around after guiding them to European qualification in the last two seasons.
“For me, Moyes has brought in these new signings and they’ve spent £170million, £180million in the summer and these players haven’t turned up,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“Paqueta, Scamacca, these players haven’t done anywhere near enough and are letting their manager down. These players have got to turn up.

“David Moyes has got a lot of credit in the bank from what he did last season.
“I’m sure these players will turn up and it will be fine but I’m sure it will be a 10th or 11th-place finish this season rather than a top-eight.”
Paqueta moved to West Ham from Lyon in the summer for a fee in excess of £50million but is yet to score for his new club.
Scamacca has six goals in 21 appearances for his new club after signing from Sassuolo in a deal that could reach £35million.
