Agbonlahor shares bold Jack Grealish prediction after Ornstein's Villa man reveal
Gabby Agbonlahor has tipped Gareth Southgate to axe Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish from the England starting XI v Germany.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Villa’s record Premier League goalscorer claimed Southgate would switch to a back five for today’s game and there would be no room for Grealish.
The Athletic‘s David Ornstein reported today (29 June) the 25-year-old is set to be named on the bench for today’s round of 16 tie at Wembley.
He was handed his first tournament start against the Czech Republic in the final group game and set up the game’s only goal.
“I don’t think Jack will start against Germany,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“I actually think he’ll play five at the back and match Germany up with a 5-2-3.

“It will be Phillips and Rice as the two sitters then Foden, Sterling and Kane or Saka, Sterling and Kane.
“So I don’t see Jack starting. He can come on and stretch the game.
“Today’s about England winning, it’s not about the players, to be honest. The players will feel like that as well. It’s just about everyone being together and winning the game.
“This is the best chance we have of winning the Euros with the number of teams that have been knocked out now. I think whoever wins today, wins the Euros.”
If England beat Germany today they will face either Sweden or Ukraine in the quarter-finals in Rome.
The winner of that tie will face Denmark or the Czech Republic at the semi-final stage back at Wembley.
