Agbonlahor suggests 'major' Tottenham boost after £30.5m Dejan Kulusevski update
Gabby Agbonlahor has backed Dejan Kulusevski to be the “difference” for Tottenham in their pursuit of another top-four finish after his return from injury.
The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, hailed the 22-year-old’s impact during his substitute cameo against Liverpool on Sunday (6 November).
Kulusevski played 22 minutes against the Merseysiders and made an immediate impact upon his introduction, providing the assist for Harry Kane’s strike.
The Sweden international had missed six Premier League games with a thigh injury after starting six of Tottenham’s first seven top-flight games.
Spurs will reportedly be obligated to sign the winger for €35million (£30.5million) if he makes 20 Premier League appearances and they qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Tottenham sit fourth in the Premier League after winning just one of their last four games.

Agbonlahor claimed Antonio Conte is “missing a few players” if he wants to challenge for a top-two berth this season.
He told Football Insider’s Connor Whitley: “I think when he came on he was sharp, he wanted to get into go into tight spaces, get forward, put crosses in.
“Kulusevski being back is major for Spurs. He could be the difference in them getting into that top four again.
“But for me I think for those top two places, they’re still missing a few players.”
Kulusevski notched five goals and eight assists in 20 games in the 2021-22 campaign after arriving at Tottenham in January.
The winger, who is yet to see his loan move made permanent by Spurs, has now notched a goal and four assists in 11 outings this term.
