Agbonlahor suggests Rangers star Alfredo Morelos to join new club on ‘£30,000-a-week deal’
Gabby Agbonlahor has tipped Alfredo Morelos to join a European club but they will not pay him the wage he is demanding from Rangers.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed Morelos’s temperament and fitness issues will stop Championship and Premier League clubs from signing him.
The 26-year-old is out of contract at Ibrox at the end of the season and will be free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs from 1 January.

Sources told Football Insider on Saturday (10 December) that the club have failed to agree a new deal with the striker as he wants a contract worth £45,000-a-week.
“I feel there are Championship clubs that can pay that,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“He does offer a good service but clubs will look at it and think he’s got his weight problems that people have talked about at Rangers and he’s got the temperament problems with his red cards.
“He goes through spells without scoring and he’s not the same Morelos who was there a few seasons ago.
“That might affect him getting that move to be honest.
“He’ll probably end up getting a move to another league in Europe, not the Premier League or the Championship, where he gets £20,000-a-week or £30,000-a-week.
“With what he offers I don’t think clubs who will pay that money will be interested.”

Morelos has failed to regain a regular starting place in the starting XI since he suffered a thigh injury at back end of last season.
The Colombia international has only found the net three times in 19 games across all competitions this term, including five starts.
