Agbonlahor '100%' expects Leeds to sell Casilla after surprise twist
Gabriel Agbonlahor “100 per cent” expects Kiko Casilla to leave Leeds United in the summer after he was left out of their matchday squad against West Ham.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Aston Villa and England striker claimed the goalkeeper will know he’s not wanted at Elland Road after he was replaced by rookie teenager Elia Caprile against the Hammers.
After the snub, Casilla took to Instagram to warn Leeds United in Spanish that “once I get tired I won’t come back again, because I give everything before I leave.”
The latest development comes just two months after Marcelo Bielsa launched a staunch defence of the ex-Real Madrid stopper after his horror show against Crawley Town in the FA Cup.
The Argentine told the Yorkshire Evening Post: “I fully trust in Kiko and I will do the utmost possible to help him. I think the treatment Kiko has suffered ignores the fact he is a player who played 40 games for Real Madrid.”
Asked whether his absence from the matchday squad at the London Stadium points to a summer exit for Casilla, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “100 per cent.

“It happened with Hernandez earlier on in the season, didn’t it? When a manager does that and leaves you out like that…
“The same thing happened with Tammy Abraham at Chelsea. You know you’re not wanted so you’ll be definitely looking for a move.
“I’m sure that will be something that he’ll be looking to do.”
Football Insider has been told by a Leeds source that Casilla is one of the club’s top earners on wages of £40,000-a-week.
He made his Premier League debut earlier this year against Brighton & Hove Albion when first-choice Illan Meslier was missing with illness.
