When asked if Grealish could make a brief cameo against Everton, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley, “No, I don’t think so.
“To be out and to have not played for so long, you would need a good week of training before getting involved.
“I don’t think he’s had that. I think the Crystal Palace game is a more realistic game to see him in.
“You never know, he might not need a full week. He’s not like other players. Maybe he just needs a few days before getting on the bench.
“You don’t know really, we’re all guessing. The manager will do the right thing for the player.
“The last thing the player, the club and England will want is for Grealish to break down again.
“They need to make sure he’s 100%.”
Grealish has scored six goals and picked up 12 assists in the league this season.
Villa’s clash with Everton kicks off at 6pm.
