Reliable journalist: PL rivals agree terms with Arsenal star, awaiting club response

Manchester City and Alexis Sanchez have agreed personal terms that will see him leave the Emirates, according to a reliable journalist.
Fabrizio Romano, the Milan based Sky Sports and Guardian journalist, tweeted that an agreement between the player and City had been reached and that if Arsenal were to allow the forward to leave now, they would receive £20million.

Asked by a fan if they were just waiting for Arsenal’s response, he replied simply saying, “yes”.

The Chilean’s time in north London appears to be coming to an end amidst reports of rifts with players and the constant rumours of a move to the champions-elect.
Sanchez is thought to be desperate for Champions League football and to win trophies which looks increasingly unlikely under Arsene Wenger.
And after a deadline day move fell through for the winger in the summer, it looks as though he is on the verge of finally getting the transfer he has been longing for.
Football Insider verdict:
Arsenal supporters will soon be hearing the news they have been dreading as Sanchez is going to become a City player during this transfer window. The Gunners have realised it is better now to cut their losses and use the money to pursue the likes of Malcom and Cristian Pavonwho would be ideal replacements for the outgoing 29-year-old. There is talk of fees in the region of £25-£30million which Arsenal should aim to receive ASAP in order to give them time to get back into the transfer market. Sanchez will leave this window, and if he is not gone by this weekend, expect him to join Pep Guardiola and co. by the time City play Newcastle United.
