Mike Ashley has agreed to sell Newcastle United to Amanda Stavely and PCP Capital Partners, and an announcement is imminent according to TalkSPORT pundit and ex-Magpies forward Mick Quinn.
The radio breakfast show presenter made the claim via his official Twitter account on Friday evening, and said that he hoped his information was correct.

There has been talk of a buyout at St James’ for some time now and it was thought that a deal would materialise before Christmas with manager Rafa Benitez urging for action.
Sky Sports reported that a deal had been agreed on Thursday night, but no official announcement has been made yet.

If the news is true and a deal has been agreed by the two parties it could finally mean that Benitez will be given a transfer kitty with which he can unleash in the January window.
Newcastle are currently 13th in the Premier League table, just two points above Stoke City in the relegation zone.
The Magpies have struggled to find any consistency so far in the English top flight since their return from the Championship and with just 20 goals in 22 games they are in need of firepower up front.
