Harry Kane has joined the prestigious ‘100 Premier League goals’ club, after scoring a penalty in extra time at Anfield to earn Spurs a 2-2 draw.
The 24-year-old had his first chance saved, as Loris Karius saved the initial penalty, yet the England international converted his second effort from the spot as Spurs were awarded another late penalty.
Alan Shearer was quick to notice Harry Kane’s success, and headed to Twitter to deliver the England striker a message following the game.
The legendary striker tweeted immediately after the game:

Shearer congratulated the 24-year-old on his historic achievement, yet many fans believe that Kane has a good chance of breaking his record of 260 Premier League goals, but that is still a long way off.
The 24-year-old has won the golden boot award two times in a row, and is well on the way to reclaiming that title with his 22 goals so far.
However, in all competitions including international football, Kane has 34 goals this season, proving his prolific nature in front of goal.
Kane’s next chance to add to his Premier League tally comes next weekend, as Arsenal visit Wembley in dire need of points.
In other Tottenham news, Alan Sugar has taken to Twitter to rant about one player during the 2-2 draw with Liverpool.
