Alejandro Garnacho bids farewell after confirmed Man United exit news
Man United winger Alejandro Garnacho took to social media to say goodbye to Marcus Rashford after he left the club for Aston Villa.
The 27-year-old hasn’t made an appearance for Man United since admitting he wants a “new challenge” after their 2-1 win over Man City earlier in the season, missing their last 12 games across all competitions.
Rashford has joined Unai Emery’s side on loan for the remainder of the season, with reports suggesting that while Villa won’t pay a loan fee, they will cover 75% of the winger’s wages.
The United academy graduate has attracted interest from several clubs across Europe during the January transfer window.
Some Aston Villa fans remain unconvinced by the deal, with many suggesting his signing could hinder the progress of one of their young stars.
Rashford remained a key player at United until Ruben Amorim replaced Erik ten Hag, starting 19 of his 24 games across all competitions, scoring seven goals, and providing three assists in his 1500 minutes of action.
