Alejandro Garnacho sends message to Kobbie Mainoo amid Man United exit news
Man United winger Alejandro Garnacho took to social media to send a message to teammate Kobbie Mainoo with both players linked with a move away from the club.
Both Garnacho, 20, and Mainoo, 19, played crucial roles as Man United secured a spot in the Europa League last 16 with a 2-0 win over FCSB on Thursday (January 30).
Mainoo provided the assist for Diogo Dalot’s 60th-minute opener before doubling their lead, latching on to Garnacho’s low cross to slot home from close range.
The central midfielder is another United player who has been linked with a move to Chelsea, a transfer that seemingly has Cole Palmer’s seal of approval.
Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo celebrate Man United win as exit rumours circulate
Garnacho has been in and out of the side this season, starting 19 of his 35 games across all competitions, scoring eight goals, and providing six assists in his 1973 minutes of action.
Fellow Man United academy graduate Mainoo has struggled too, starting 17 of his 23 games across all competitions, scoring one goal, and providing one assist in his 1521 minutes on the field.
The winger took to Instagram to share an image of the two celebrating Mainoo’s goal, with both players’ futures up in the air.

Ruben Amorim’s side will doubtless be hoping their fine European form will translate domestically for the second half of the season as they prepare for a visit from Crystal Palace on Sunday (February 2).
