Alejandro Garnacho sends message to Man United fans after he’s axed

Man United winger Alejandro Garnacho took to social media to send a message to the fans after being left out of the starting XI for their 2-0 Europa League win over FCSB on Thursday (January 30).

The 20-year-old came on at half-time to provide the assist for Kobbie Mainoo’s goal, helping Ruben Amorim’s side earn a place in the Europa League round of 16.

Football Insider revealed (January 21) that the Argentina international may not be a United player for much longer as Chelsea are ‘making progress’ towards a deal for the youngster.

Diogo Dalot opened the scoring for Man United on the hour mark, assisted by Mainoo before the young England international rounded off the scoring just eight minutes later.

The central midfielder is another United player who has been linked with a move to Chelsea, a move that seemingly has Cole Palmer’s seal of approval.

The winger has been in and out of the side this season, starting 19 of his 35 games across all competitions, scoring eight goals, and providing six assists in his 1973 minutes of action.

Garnacho took to Instagram to celebrate the 2-0 Europa League win over Romanian side FCSB, simply saying: “Away days.”

The Premier League giants look set to have a busy end to the January transfer window after top target Patrick Dorgu dropped what appeared to be a hint regarding his move from Lecce.

One player who may be forced to remain at the club is Marcus Rashford, who has seemingly priced himself out of a move, according to TalkSPORT.
