Alejandro Garnacho shares instant reaction to Man United vs Real Sociedad draw
Man United winger Alejandro Garnacho took to social media to send a message to the fans after being drawn against Real Sociedad in the Europa League round of 16.
The 20-year-old featured in all eight of United’s Europa League league phase games but started just four as Ruben Amorim’s side secured a spot in the last 16 with a third-place finish.
United have now been drawn against Real Sociedad, with the first leg set to be played in Spain on March 6th and the second a week later at Old Trafford.
The English side have fared much better in Europe than they have domestically so far this season, sitting in 15th with eight wins, five draws, 12 defeats, and just 29 points from their 25 Premier League games.
According to Richard Keys, Amorim has become disillusioned with life at the Man United and is already wanting to leave after just four months at the helm.
Part-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has also received plenty of criticism for his running of the club, especially when it comes to the mass redundancies and cost-cutting measures.

The youngster has been in and out of the United side this season, starting 21 of his 38 games across all competitions, scoring eight goals, and providing six assists in his 2198 minutes of action.
Garnacho took to Instagram to react to the draw against Sociedad, the club he scored his first Man United goal against back in 2022, to say: “Good memories. Let’s goo.”
United will travel to Everton for the early kick-off on Saturday (February 22) as they seek to gain ground on the top half.
