Alexis Mac Allister reacts to Conor Bradley’s Liverpool message

Liverpool duo Alexis Mac Allister and Conor Bradley are vying to help the Reds retain their Premier League title.

Arne Slot’s men began their pre-season schedule with a 3-1 victory over Preston North End at Deepdale on 13 July.

The Reds are currently in Hong Kong, where they are set to face Italian giants AC Milan in a friendly on Saturday, 26 July.

Meanwhile, Luis Diaz could leave Liverpool as Slot continues to reshape his squad at Anfield ahead of next season.

Liverpool star Mac Allister reacts as Bradley shares pre season message

Bradley got himself on the scoresheet when Liverpool beat Preston earlier this month, whereas Mac Allister did not feature in the clash.

Both players are on the Merseyside giants’ tour of Hong Kong and Japan, and will strive to achieve victory over Milan.

Meanwhile, Bradley took to Instagram on Wednesday, 23 July, to share training photos captioned with a Hong Kong flag and a smiling face emoji.

The Northern Ireland international’s message received a like from Mac Allister, who played a key role in last season’s Premier League triumph.

Bradley will enjoy more first-team minutes next season

Football Insider verdict

Thanks to the presence of former Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold, Bradley has endured a lack of game time since rising through the academy ranks at Anfield.

Bradley should have more game time next season

Replacing Alexander-Arnold after the homegrown sensation joined Real Madrid could have been a daunting task for Slot to complete.

However, the performances of fellow attacking fullback and summer signing Jeremie Frimpong at Bayer Leverkusen show that the Netherlands international should be the right man for the job.

But the gulf in class between Bradley and Frimpong is narrower than that of the 22-year-old and Alexander-Arnold, handing Slot more genuine scope for rotation.

Therefore, the Northern Ireland star should enjoy more minutes in the Premier League next season, after enjoying just seven starts in the top flight last term.

Liverpool are vying to win silverware such as the FA Cup and the Champions League, alongside retaining their Premier League crown, making rotation vital for Slot.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have been tipped to sell star defender Marc Guehi to the Reds in a Liverpool News 247 exclusive.
