The defensive midfielder put pen to paper on his first professional deal back in the summer of 2024, but there are growing concerns that he could follow in his older brother’s footsteps – Charlie Cresswell.
His current contract runs until the summer of 2028, and if reports are to be believed, the teenage talent is earning £1500-per-week, mounting up to a yearly salary of £78,000.
Capable of playing further forward, Cresswell is clearly impressing in West Yorkshire, boasting four goals and two assists in 25 games during the campaign.

| 2025-2026 | 25 | 4 | 2 |

| 2023-2024 | 5 | 1 | 0 |
Supporters will be hoping that he can emerge as the next Archie Gray, but that would also come hand-in-hand with speculation around his future, as it already is this season.
What could be next for the 18-year-old?
Having been called up to train with the first team, many would assume that a first-team debut might be around the corner for Cresswell, especially with Leeds on an FA Cup run this season.
Charlie Crew is another of those who fans want to see given more opportunities by Farke, but the manager can be quite delicate when it comes to throwing youngsters into the limelight.
It would make a lot of sense to see him sent out on loan, with Harry Gray, Mateo Joseph and Joe Gelhardt all moving away for the 2025-26 campaign, and gaining precious senior minutes.
Historically, PSR has been an issue for Leeds, which could even force the club into selling some of their youngsters, but supporters will be praying that Cresswell is not considered for sale.
