‘Alisson among ten star players who could leave Liverpool’
Arne Slot may be forced to plan a huge overhaul of his Liverpool squad in the near future as ten first-team stars could leave the club.
That is according to former Man United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected within the game, as he exclusively told Football Insider that their transfer activity will be something to “keep an eye on”.
Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas have all been earmarked for exits in the next “two or three years”.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota have also had questions asked about their long-term futures at Anfield.
Salah and Van Dijk have been subject to speculation about their contract situations, but even if they sign new deals as expected, their ages remain a concern.
As a result, Slot has been presented with a potential major overhaul of his squad in the short period before his contract expires in 2027.

Liverpool fear ten players could leave in shock exodus
Former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson previously warned Football Insider that Liverpool could lose five “huge” players this summer amid intense speculation.
Brown, who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, insisted that Slot will now face an “extremely difficult” task over the coming seasons.
“I think Liverpool might have a problem on their hands,” he told Football Insider.
“Go through their team one by one – there have been whispers that Alisson might be moving on, I don’t know how true that is but it’s something I was told.
“Alexander-Arnold looks like he’s going to Real Madrid, they’ve got question marks about Konate, Van Dijk is 33 now, Robertson is struggling and likely to be replaced.
“Tsimikas has been the back-up but if they bring in a new left-back he’ll be pushed down the pecking order.
“The midfield, they’re looking to sign new players there because there isn’t a lot of depth.
“But then up front and in the wide positions, there are even more questions.
“I think Salah will sign a new contract, and I think the same with Van Dijk, but that’s not signed and sealed yet so they’re still uncertain.
“Then you’ve got Diaz, Nunez and Jota who are all being spoken about potentially leaving.
“So you end up with probably seven or eight players in that Liverpool team with question marks over them going into the summer.
“Now, I’m not saying they’re all going to leave immediately, because they aren’t.
“But some will leave this summer, some will leave next summer, some of them are ageing, so you end up having to rebuild your squad over the space of two or three seasons.
“That’s an extremely difficult task and a huge one for any club or any manager to carry out, so it will certainly be something to keep an eye on.”

Harvey Elliott and Jarell Quansah eyed by Newcastle United
Alongside the ten players mentioned in connection with a move away from Liverpool, the likes of Harvey Elliott and Jarell Quansah have also been linked with moves away.
Brown told Football Insider that Liverpool are open to offers for Elliott, but their “huge” £50million asking price is putting clubs off of a move for the 21-year-old.
Newcastle are believed to be among the clubs keeping an eye on Elliott’s situation as they weigh up a move to bring him to St James Park.
Meanwhile, Brown told Football Insider that Newcastle want to sign Quansah and the centre-back is open to leaving Anfield in search of improved playing time.
