Alisson Becker reveals Liverpool torment in new message after injury hell
Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has taken to social media to send a revealing message to fans after making his return in their 1-0 Champions League win over Girona on Tuesday (December 10).
The 32-year-old has been out of action for over two months after picking up a hamstring injury in their 1-0 Premier League win over Crystal Palace earlier in the season.
Caoimhin Kelleher took over between the sticks before Alisson made his inevitable comeback in their win over Spanish club Girona.
Liverpool’s victory over Girona keeps them at the top of the new Champions League group phase, having won all six of their games so far.
Mohamed Salah netted his 16th goal of the season across all competitions from the penalty spot, clinching all three points for the visitors after former Man United midfielder Donny van de Beek fouled Luis Diaz in the box.
