All matches Tino Livramento will miss as Eddie Howe confirms Newcastle injury blow
Eddie Howe has confirmed exactly how long Newcastle United will be without Tino Livramento through injury.
Livramento was stretchered off against Arsenal, landing awkwardly on his knee after a challenge from William Saliba, and he was forced to miss the Champions League clash against Union Saint-Gilloise.
His teammate, Gabriel Magalhaes, was lucky to still be on the pitch, so the latest injury update will only rub salt into the wounds after the Magpies through away their lead against the Gunners.
Yoane Wissa remains on the sidelines following his big-money move from Brentford, with new signing Jacob Ramsey also pushing to recover from his ankle injury at St James’ Park.

Tino Livramento set to be sidelined for eight weeks
Livramento is the next name to join those on the treatment table, and Howe has now confirmed exactly how serious the injury is after the player had to be stretchered off by the medical staff.
Speaking in his press conference, the manager said, “He went to see a specialist a couple of days ago because the scan maybe looked better than we initially thought.
“The specialist confirmed it’s roughly an eight-week injury. A blow to lose him, but for what it could have been, it is good news,” after fans were concerned about a major ACL injury for the defender.
The 22-year-old had started all six of the Magpies’ Premier League matches so far this season, having also played 45 games across all competitions last term, but he is now set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
