All matches Tyler Adams is expected to miss as ‘big miss’ confirmed at Bournemouth
Andoni Iraola could be without one of his most important stars after Tyler Adams trudged off against Man United on Monday.
The USA international lasted just five minutes before being replaced during Bournemouth’s 4-4 draw with Man United on 15 December, joining Ryan Christie and Ben Gannon-Doak on the treatment table.
Bournemouth also run the risk of losing Antoine Semenyo next month, with Premier League giants circling for the winger’s signature after nearly three bright years at the Vitality Stadium.
Iraola may be forced to go into the transfer market once the window opens, and that is especially true now that Adams has suffered a very lengthy injury, one that could keep him out for months.

Tyler Adams could be sidelined for up to three months
Iraola confirmed the crushing blow in his press conference, which will also be a huge concern for the USA national team, with just six months until the World Cup kicks off.
“Tyler [Adams], like we expected, not watching the play live; he has done his MCL, and definitely he has to go through the process. I think it’s between two and three months, more or less,” he said.
“If you are optimistic, it’s going to be two. If you are pessimistic, it’s going to be three. Something in between, probably. He’s a big miss for us because he’s a player who gives us a lot of things.“
Semenyo is destined to leave Bournemouth, if not next month, then in the summer, and that blow will only be exacerbated by the injury to Adams, who could miss most of the remainder of the season.
