All the games Kieran Trippier will miss for Newcastle as new injury blow confirmed
Kieran Trippier is facing a month out of action for Newcastle after a scan on his hamstring revealed the extent of his injury troubles.
Kieran Trippier has remained a solid operator at right-back for Newcastle in the last few years despite having to battle through numerous injury concerns.
The former England international has been a regular starter so far this season, with 15 appearances and one assist to his name up to now.
Football Insider recently revealed that Eddie Howe wants Trippier to sign a new contract, with his current deal set to expire at the end of this term.
He has been struck by injury in the last week and missed the last two games against Man City and Marseille, with Howe now revealing when fans can expect to see him back playing.

Trippier facing around a month out after Howe confirmation
The Daily Mail revealed on Thursday (27 November) that Trippier is set to be sidelined for up to four weeks after missing those last two outings.
His problem was initially described as a “minor hamstring injury,” but the strain picked up in training last Friday is believed to be slightly more serious, hence the updated prognosis.
Magpies boss Howe offered confirmation of Trippier’s issues in his pre-match press conference on Friday (28 November), saying: “He had a scan on his hamstring, I think it’s roughly around a month – give or take.
“That’s the diagnosis. Fingers crossed we can get him back quickly.”
Trippier set to miss Wear-Tyne derby and busy December schedule
Trippier turned 35 in September, and while he has been a key man for the club in recent years, Newcastle do already have a future star at right-back in Tino Livramento.
Livramento has only just returned to action from a knee injury, but it is one in, one out for Howe as Trippier now takes to the treatment room.

Football Insider have looked at all of the games that Newcastle fans can expect Trippier to miss out on after this latest confirmed blow.
