Amad Diallo breaks silence on his Man United form after wretched start to the season
Man United forward Amad broke his silence after the derby day defeat to Man City on social media.
Man United continued their poor start to the Premier League season after Ruben Amorim’s side were outclassed by Man City in a 3-0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium.
Amid the underwhelming run of form, Football Insider provided an update on the manager’s future as Man United chiefs are losing patience with Amorim and remains at risk of being sacked if results don’t improve quickly.
While much of the reaction after the match came from City players celebrating their victory, Amad has now shared an encouraging message to the Man United fans following the defeat.

Amad shares inspiring update after Man United loss
Amad shared a message to supporters on Instagram despite the disappointment on derby day. He posted a picture of himself attempting an overhead kick during the game against City, with a caption that read “It’s temporary” in an apparent reference to his poor recent form.
It follows a string of cryptic posts from the Ivorian in recent weeks, as Amad posted an ambitious Ballon d’Or post showcasing his goals in the future.

On the pitch, however, the winger has started the season in underwhelming form, being deployed as both a right wing-back and right attacking midfielder.
Instead, new signing Bryan Mbeumo has impressed Man United fans and has added competition in the same position that Amad deploys.
Still, the 23-year-old has impressed under Amorim, scoring 10 goals and providing nine assists across all competitions last term.
Despite United’s struggles in the league, Amad was rewarded with a new contract, underlining the club’s belief in his long-term potential, regardless of Amorim’s future.

Harry Maguire faces Man United exit amid contract update
Another player that played an important role last term that has a reduced role this season, is Harry Maguire, with speculation surrounding an exit.
Football Insider revealed Maguire could leave Man United at the end of the season, with no current talks to extend his contract.
He has less than 12 months left on his deal and has yet to start a Premier League game this season.
Premier League clubs had enquired about Maguire in the summer but were dismissed by the club. Now, time will tell if there is a change in stance with his contract running down.
