Amad Diallo is stunned by Bruno Fernandes in four-word Man United message
Amad Diallo has been a huge absence for Ruben Amorim’s Man United as he remains sidelined, but his latest update carried a positive message.
The winger has been a key figure for the Red Devils this season, scoring vital goals against Man City and Liverpool, as well as a stunning 12-minute hat-trick against Southampton.
However, Amad suffered an ankle injury in February, which is expected to rule him out for the rest of the campaign.
His absence couldn’t have come at a worse time for United, who chose not to strengthen their attack in January while allowing Marcus Rashford and Antony to leave on loan.
With attacking options limited,Man United fans called for the club to recall Rashford, who has thrived at Aston Villa since his move.
Despite the setback, Amad remained upbeat after captain Bruno Fernandes dedicated a post to him.

Fernandes shared a touching Instagram story dedicated to Amad, highlighting their on-field connection. The post featured a split-screen video of Fernandes assisting the winger in the Europa League—one from the 2020/21 season and the other from this campaign, both near-identical assists.
The Portuguese playmaker tagged the winger alongside a heart emoji, to which Amad responded: “Always from the magnificent” (translated from Italian).

While this link-up has been a big miss for United recently, fans may have to get used to it being absent permanently.
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Man United are doing everything possible to keep Fernandes beyond this season, with speculation growing over his future.
Despite another outstanding season with 32 goal contributions, the midfielder has just two years left on his contract, leading to uncertainty over his long-term stay at Old Trafford.

Bruno Fernandes could leave Man United as frustrations grow
Back in May 2024, Football Insider revealed that Fernandes was unhappy after Man United’s season, as they finished eighth in the Premier League despite winning the FA Cup.
This season, they sit 13th, with the Europa League now their only realistic shot at silverware.
While he was not expected to leave last summer, it has been suggested that Fernandes could quit Man United this year.
With speculation mounting, United fans will be hoping they haven’t already witnessed the last of the Fernandes and Amad connection.
