Amad Diallo makes Alejandro Garnacho feelings known amid Man United exit talk

Amad had taken to social media to share a message with his Man United teammate Alejandro Garnacho.

Amid what has been an immensely frustrating season for the Red Devils, they can still end the campaign on a high by lifting the Europa League trophy.

Man United will take a 3-0 lead over Athletic Bilbao into the second leg of their semi final tie at Old Trafford on Thursday.

As a result spirits unsurprisingly appear to be high in Ruben Amorim‘s side in the lead-up to that decisive game.

Man United have missed Amad badly during his recent long absence due to injury, and his return to the side in the past couple of games will be a major boost for them.

The winger came off the bench late on in the first leg against Bilbao, before playing the second half of the Premier League defeat to Brentford at the weekend.

While the Ivorian had been a key player prior to his fitness issues, Garnacho has struggled for form throughout the course of this season.

The Argentine has come under scrutiny for his performances, and there have even been claims Man United could sell Garnacho in the summer as they look to ease their financial situation.

Despite that, it appears he still has the backing of Amad, who took to his Instagram story on Wednesday (7 May) to share a picture of the two of them smiling together in training.

The Man United star then tagged his teammate in the post, before showing his affection by simply adding a loveheart emoji.

Man United wingers endure contrasting fortunes

Football Insider Verdict

Right now, things look as though they could go in rather different directions for these two wingers at Old Trafford.

There is no reason Amad cannot rediscover the form he showed for Man United prior to his injury, and if he manages that, then he is going to be a key player for many years to come.

On the flip side, things have not gone as well for Garnacho this season while Chelsea have been among those linked with him.

An excellent goal in that loss to Brentford is a reminder of just what the 20-year-old can do when he is playing to the peak of his powers.

But if he cannot do that on a more consistent basis then with the need for Man United to raise funds to provide some financial stability, Garnacho could be one in line to be moved on in the transfer market.
