
Amadou Onana ‘likely to leave’ as Everton’s asking price revealed
Everton star Amadou Onana is “likely” to leave the club this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, transfer correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that the Toffees will look for between £50-60million for Onana, 22, amid vast summer interest.
However, well-placed sources have told Football Insider that his price tag may vary depending on when prospective clubs submit bids.
Everton are under major pressure to balance their books after registering £89.1million of losses for the 2022-23 season in their recent accounts (31 March).

Accounts for this season must be submitted by 30 June, meaning Sean Dyche’s side will have to sanction departures before this date for them to register in their 2023-24 numbers.
They have already been hit with a six-point deduction for a profit and sustainability breach this season and have another charge pending, with the verdict set to be announced on Monday (8 April).
However, the Belgium international has attracted swathes of interest from across the Premier League after standing out amid the Toffees’ turbulent campaign.
They are also eager to make a profit on Onana after his reported £33.5million move from Ligue 1 side Lille in August 2022.
Well-placed sources have told Football Insider (27 March) that West Ham United have revived their interest in Onana after he came close to joining in the summer of 2022.
Arsenal also showed interest in the January transfer window, but Everton’s demands were deemed too high to finance mid-season.
Football Insider also revealed (5 February) that Newcastle United have compiled an extensive scouting dossier on the former Lille star amid their interest.
