The on-loan Torino defender will need to show his strong defensive skills once again at Anfield on Tuesday night as he has the task of stopping a formidable Reds attacking line.
Jansson will need to show calmness and leadership at the back, if his side are to cause an upset and progress through to the semi-finals.
The New Zealand international has shown impressive form this term, scoring 12 goals in 21 Championship and EFL Cup matches.
Striker Wood will come up against a higher quality opposition at Anfield, but his aerial ability and physicality can cause problems against a side that has struggled defensively in the Premier League.
The left-back has been ever-present in the Championship for the Whites this season and as a result he has been one of Monk’s most consistent performers.
Taylor’s ability going forward, in particular his crossing, will test the Liverpool backline as Monk’s side aim to pull off an upset.
However, he will have to be on his toes in defence as he comes up against a slick and fast moving attacking set-up.
In other Leeds team news, Kyle Bartley has revealed that he is happy he does not have to face this injured Liverpool star.
