COMMENT By Harvey Byrne
West Ham will travel to Old Trafford on Wednesday evening for a clash in the EFL Cup quarter-final stage with Manchester United.
The Hammers have only earned victory over United in one of their previous 14 encounters.
However, Football Insider have analysed three West Ham players who could be key to them battling to a vital victory and progressing to the semi-finals.
The match is a chance of redemption for the 29-year-old shot-stopper who has recently lost his place in the league to Darren Randolph.

The Spaniard has been in poor form this season, conceding 22 goals in 12 fixtures for the club.
However, manager Slaven Bilic likes to rotate his goalkeepers between the league and cup competitions and Adrian could come back into the side to face United.
He will be expecting to face a barrage of attacks from a strong Manchester United forward line and he could be key to keeping them at bay.
The New Zealand international has been one of the few solid aspects of a leaky West Ham defence this season.
He could be likely to face the world renowned forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who will prove a very difficult foe in the air.
However, Reid is also known for his strong aerial ability and he could be crucial to getting the Hammers through to the semi-final stage.
The club’s record £20.5million summer signing could lead the attack following an injury to Diafra Sakho.
He will be keen to prove he is worth the high price tag having so far failed to make an impact within the east London side’s team.
The United defence is currently suffering with injuries at the back to Chris Smalling and Eric Bailly.
This could give the quick-footed Ayew the perfect opportunity to get off the mark for West Ham and help the club progress in the cup competition.
In other West Ham team news, this Hammers 26-year-old has suffered a new injury setback.
