Andoni Iraola ‘to reject Tottenham job’ – ‘it’s not attractive’
Tottenham are sitting up and taking notice of Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola as they plot a potential manager change this summer.
Bournemouth’s Iraola, Fulham boss Marco Silva and Brentford manager Thomas Frank have all been linked with a potential move to Spurs.
Iraola, 42, has the Cherries challenging for European football under two years after taking charge on the south coast.
Football Insider has revealed (1 April) Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is not likely to cling on in the dugout if he doesn’t deliver Europa League success.
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – has claimed Spurs could struggle to attract Iraola.

Iraola will think twice about Bournemouth exit as training ground opens, says Wyness
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness has claimed Iraola could be perusaded to stick around by Bournemouth’s ambition.
The Cherries opened a new state-of-the-art training ground during the international break and are also planning a stadium expansion.
Wyness claimed Iraola, who is under contract until June 2026, may be wary about Spurs after seeing a number of managers struggle with Daniel Levy.

He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “I believe Iraola may think twice about leaving Bournemouth for Spurs.
“Particularly if there is a new stadium project – and he sees a future down there.
“It’s better the devil you know – and while Spurs may be a temptation financially, he’s got a very good owner at Bournemouth who has backed him.
“There’s a new training ground, a new stadium plan – they’re looking to grow, and why wouldn’t you want to stick around?
“It may be hard for Spurs to be attractive. We’ve seen a number of managers now having issues with Daniel Levy.
“It’s maybe not quite as attractive as it would seem.”

Romero could push for Tottenham exit
Meanwhile, Football Insider has revealed (4 April) that Tottenham star Cristian Romero could push for a move away this summer with Atletico Madrid interested in the World Cup winner.
Spurs could accept a bid of just £50million for the centre-back this summer.
It is believed the Argentina international could be persuaded to push for a move away in the off-season with a turbulent period and potential manager change ahead for Tottenham.
