Andre Green has told Aston Villa supporters that he will be “back very soon” as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.
The 18-year-old is currently on the sidelines after going off injured during the 2-0 win against Bristol City at the end of February.
Prior to picking up that knock, Green was impressing the Villa Park faithful with his improving, fearless performances for Steve Bruce’s side.
It is not yet known when the highly-rated winger will be back from action, but he will be looking to target the Championship encounter against Norwich on April 1.
At this moment in time, the international break is underway and Green had this message for fans as he is pictured with Gabby Agbonlahor and Micah Richards.
“It’s been very hard watching from the sidelines,” Green wrote on his personal Twitter account. “Back very soon.”

Prior to his injury, Green had started the last two games for Bruce, both home wins against Derby County and Bristol.
Over the course of the campaign, the pacy attacker has been used sporadically, playing 13 league games, starting four of those encounters.
Since his absence, Bruce’s side have continued to pick up points, winning three of their last four games.
After the international break, Villa will prepare for two home encounters, first against managerless Norwich before Ian Holloway’s QPR visit the Midlands three days later.
Left-back Jordan Amavi has been playing on the left wing for Bruce in recent weeks, with Birkir Bjrnasson another player on the sidelines.
In other Aston Villa news, Steve Bruce could target one of these three centre-backs after dropping a massive hint.
