
Andy Carroll shares what is giving him great delight at West Ham

West Ham striker Andy Carroll admitted he was pleased with how he has been performing recently in front of goal.
The 28-year-old has scored four goals in his last four Premier League games, including an effort in Saturday’s 3-1 win over Southampton.
He will be hoping to earn a recall to the England squad with his current form and is proving to be highly dangerous for top-flight defences.
Carroll revealed his delight with his current run and claims his goal against Southampton showed off his confidence.
“I’m happy with how it’s going in front of goal for me at the minute. It was probably one of the only chances I had in the game, so it was nice to put it away,” Carroll said, as quoted by the club’s official website.
Carroll has been a revelation for West Ham this season since his return from a knee injury and has six goals in 16 games across all competitions.
The frontman has scored an array of different this campaign and the standout one was his bicycle kick against Crystal Palace.
He is regarded as the first-choice striker under manager Slaven Bilic and is the senior player ahead of the likes of Jonathan Celleri and Ashley Fletcher.
Carroll could help the Hammers easily clinch a top 10 finish if can avoid any injury setbacks and will be looking to add to his West Ham goals.
