Andy Robertson mocks ‘unlucky’ Liverpool teammate in Mo Salah training image
Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson has poked fun at one of his teammates by posting a training ground image on Instagram.
There can be more than a sense of celebration behind the scenes for the Reds now, with the club having already secured the Premier League title in Arne Slot‘s first season in charge.
Robertson is one Liverpool player who has been taking the opportunity to reflect on the success of the campaign.
All of that will be helping to form a relaxed atmosphere around the club, something which the Scotland international seems to be enjoying.

James McConnell mocked in Instagram post
While the title is confirmed, Slot’s side do still have games to play this season, and on Sunday (11 May) they will host their closest rivals for the title this season, Arsenal, at Anfield.
In the lead up to that game, Robertson is unsurprisingly in good spirits as Liverpool prepare for that match.
On Friday evening (9 May), the left-back took to his Instagram story to post a picture of himself and Mo Salah celebrating during an apparent team drill in training.
Liverpool remaining games | Date |
Arsenal (H) | 11/05 |
Brighton (A) | 19/05 |
Crystal Palace (H) | 25/05 |
James McConnell could also be seen in the picture, with the 20-year-old – who was seemingly on the opposite side to the other two – leaning back in frustration.
Robertson then captioned the post by simply tagging his young Liverpool teammate, alongside the word “unlucky”.

Liverpool spirits unsurprisingly high
Football Insider Verdict
This will undoubtedly be a good time to be part of Slot’s side at the club’s Melwood Training Ground given the circumstances.
With the title in the bag and nothing else to play for, this is a time when the Liverpool squad can relax and enjoy the satisfaction of what they have achieved this season.
Even so, there are some such as McConnell who you do have to have sympathy for, with the midfielder having not made an appearance in the league this season, ruling him out of the running for a medal.
Of course, other issues may soon come to a head, with Football Insider having been told by Glen Johnson that Robertson must improve his performances if he wants to stay at Liverpool.
For now though, this feels like a time for those connected with the club to enjoy the fruits of their labour over the course of this campaign.
