Andy Robertson responds to ‘frustrating’ Curtis Jones message at Liverpool
Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones has taken to social media to voice his frustrations after their 3-3 draw with Newcastle on Wednesday (December 4).
The 23-year-old scored Liverpool’s first equaliser 15 minutes after Alexander Isak’s opener with a thunderous close-range effort.
Anthony Gordon then restored Newcastle’s lead before Mohamed Salah took the game by the scruff of the neck, bagging a brace to send Arne Slot’s side 3-2 up.
The league leaders looked set for their eighth consecutive win across all competitions, but Fabian Schar had other ideas, nodding in a controversial equaliser, forcing Liverpool to share the spoils.
Liverpool have seen their nine-point lead cut to seven, with Chelsea and Arsenal sneaking up behind them in the race for the Premier League title.
