Andy Walker makes bold prediction for Rangers clash v Hearts
Sky Sports’ Scottish football pundit Andy Walker has given his prediction for Rangers’ clash against Hearts at Ibrox on Sunday lunchtime.
Writing in his column on the Sky Sports website, Walker has boldly tipped the Gers to fall to defeat in the match, and has predicted a 2-1 win for the Edinburgh made.
His tip for the key player in the match is the Edinburgh side’s David Milinkovic, who he believes is “capable of scoring in a game where all the focus will be on the Rangers players after last week’s pitiful semi final defeat against Celtic”.
The match is a must-win for the Gers if they want to keep their head above water in the battle with Hibernian and Aberdeen for second place in the Scottish Premiership table.
Football Insider verdict
It is hard to know what is going to happen at Ibrox on Sunday, particularly after the suspensions of Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace, so it isn’t a total surprise that Walker has tipped the Light Blues to suffer yet another defeat at home this season. If the players have any professional pride left though, they should be able to defeat Hearts, as despite all their problems the Gers are still a better team than their Edinburgh counterparts. But the players might not be motivated and it will be intriguing to see if they are still willing to play for Graeme Murty after all the turmoil that has gone on in the past week.
