Sky Sports pundit predicts Celtic clash v Hibernian

Sky Sports Scottish football pundit Andy Walker has given his prediction for the upcoming Celtic clash versus Hibernian at Easter Road on Saturday lunchtime.

A win for the Hoops would see a seventh consecutive title clinched but writing in his column on the Sky Sports website, Walker has tipped the game to end in a 1-1 draw.

His tip for key player for the match is former Hoops midfielder Dylan McGeouch who he claims ‘should be keen to shine against his former club’.

If the match at Easter Road ends in a draw like Walker predicts then the Hoops will need to wait on the results of Aberdeen’s trip to Kilmarnock and Rangers’ clash v Hearts before finding out if they will be Champions over the weekend, or if the celebrations will be delayed a week.

Football Insider verdict

The Hoops will new doubt have a difficult match at Easter Road, as Neil Lennon will have the Hibernian players up for the game, and as two of the previous league encounters between the teams this season have ended in draws then it is not hard to see where Walker is coming from with his prediction of the spoils to be shared between the sides. However, the Hoops know what is at stake and will want the title clinched as soon as they possibly can, and if they play to the best of their abilities then there will only be one winner and the Bhoys will be able to celebrate yet another honour in their long and illustrious history.
