Ange Postecoglou must act after what pundit has just seen at Celtic - 'all of a sudden'
Kevin Campbell has insisted Ange Postecoglou must act immediately in order to “bounce back” after Celtic lost 2-0 away at St Mirren on Sunday (18 September).
The former Arsenal striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested the wholesale changes made to the starting eleven were no excuse for the result.
Celtic’s Scottish Premiership loss came just four days after the 1-1 Champions League draw against Shakhtar Donetsk in Warsaw (14 September).
Josip Juranovic, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Reo Hatate, Matt O’Riley, Jota and Sead Haksabanovic all dropped out of the side which took part in Poland.
The result allowed Old Firm rivals Rangers to close the gap to just two points atop the Scottish Premiership ahead of the international break.
Campbell suggested the players who came into the side on Sunday may have missed their chance to become regular starters.

He told Football Insider: “When you play in the Champions League you want to freshen things up for the league games.
“Postecoglou knew it was going to be a tough game. The players who came in – you expect them to perform.
“Everyone wants to be a starter.
“Celtic have got a strong squad. It’s not as if he picked players who are way down in the pecking order or picked youngsters.
“They just didn’t perform on the day, and that can happen. It’s something which needs to be rectified straight away, because it’s going to be a hell of a tussle with them and Rangers this season.
“Celtic have been unbelievable, but you’re going to hit a blip now and again.
“All of a sudden, there’s a bit of a chink in the armour and they’ve got to bounce back.”
